Well, its a New Year and that means… New Years Resolutions!!
I have decided as one of my resolutions (I have many resolutions), is to take more photos and arrange more studio work.
Of course studio work requires a studio. The studio I currently use is in the centre of Edinburgh, which is great for arranging shoots with models from all over the country as public transport is easy and finding the centre of Edinburgh is not difficult (even I can manage it).
However… travelling from the Scottish Borders to Edinburgh makes it an expensive shoot for me, because of the petrol involved in getting there, and on top of that I have been let down a couple of times by models, after driving all the way to the studio, only to get a message saying they cant make it.
So the alternative is to set up my own local studio…
