The Wedding of Donna & Mark, 16th Feb 2013
(at the Philipburn Country House Hotel)
We had a wonderful time shooting at the wedding of Donna and Mark.
The day started at around 8am with the bridal party getting their hair done at Michelle’s in Selkirk, then it was back to the Philipburn for make-up, applied by Steph from Unique Beauty (Kelso). We took several photos of the girls getting ready for the day ahead.
After a few posed shots of the bride it was time for the ceremony. Set out in the large marque in the gardens of the hotel, it was the ideal place to take photos, lots of natural light illuminating the marque.
The ceremony and wedding breakfast was wonderful, with lots of good humour, love and a few tears.
I always feel privileged to be apart of someone’s special day.
