We recently did another Studio At The Square shoot, this time “Beauty Style” with Charlene.
The objective was a beauty style shoot, the kind of thing you find in a magazine for an expensive face cream or something like that. The set-up was an off the shoulder top, to show the shoulders naturally without the distractions of a top, and a simple high-key / white backdrop.
I have now done a couple of shoots with Charlene, she’s a fantastic subject to shoot. She was ideal for this style of shoot! Her hair is a nice deep red colour, which works well in this beauty style image, giving contrast against the white background. The resulting photos were beautiful! We got several amazing shots from a small amount of time, some in portrait format, some landscape and with various poses.
